DBSK VS Big Bang

It seems Big Bang has been surpassing DBSK in both sale records and chart topping songs but they actually ended up significantly behind DBSK as far as the MKMF music voting chart shows.

According to an updated current standing of the nominess for the overseas viewers' choice award, DBSK is impressivelt ahead of all the other nominees with an overwhelming 93% of the votes.

Before the voting even started, Big Bang was placed head to head with DBSK by netizens who believed this year's award will be a battle between Big Bang and DBSK alone. Howver it seems DBSK is leaning on the advantage side with their major head start.

Unexpectedly, the closest to DBSK is Epik High with 1.4% of the vote.

Just from the current stands for the idols, it is hightly predictable for DBSK to win majority of the awards on MKMF night.

The 2008 Mnet KM Music Video Festival will air on November 15th, 2008.




Chae Jeong-and Kang In, 10 hours of kissing for one scene

Movie "Pure Love" starring Chae Jeong-an and Kang In have filmed a Marathon kiss scene of 10 hours!

Kang In is a character who is in love with a woman 7 years older than him. The older woman, who is being loved has a hard time considering to accept this love proposal.

The two characters heal each other wounds as they start their love relationship and they change together.

This film also stars Yoo Ji-tae and Lee Yeon-hee as the another couple who have a lot of age difference.

This film will be released on the 27th!

Ahra and Super Junior have come to meet with TVXQ in a the special ‘MIROTIC’ album that will be released on December 4th. On this special edition, Youngwoong Jaejoong’s ‘Don’t Cry Love,’ and Micky Yoochun’s ‘Love Goodbye Love,’ with a total of 4 new songs will be included.

Micky Yoochun’s ‘Love Goodbye Love’ is a medium tempo song that expresses the emotion of pain due to love. Actress Ahra will be doing the narration for this song.

Additionally, a different song called ‘Wish’ will be sung by Xiah Junsu and Choikang Changmin, along with Super Junior members Ryeowook and Kyuhyun for a total of four people singing the song together. The four singers with different colors will come together making a beautiful harmony.

Actress Han Hyo Joo delivered her promise to do her best in the upcoming Japanese-Korean collaboration drama, “Heaven’s Postman.”

On the 22nd, Han Hyo Joo revealed through a phone interview that she liked the script ever since she saw it, and made the decision to accept the role. Also, the director was someone she’d worked with before in “Spring Waltz,” adding to her confidence.
About her role this time, Han Hyo Joo said, “In the past I had roles in history dramas or roles that weren’t compatible with my real age, but this time my role is just right for my age, so I believe I can show everyone my best.” She also expressed her anticipation for “Heaven’s Postman.”

The thing she’s spent the most time on for this drama is acting. She said, “We went through the script for the first time on the 21st, and interaction with the other actors is very important, but because this time we are working with many very famous people, we will focus on the quality of acting.”

Han Hyo Joo, who will be working with TVXQ’s Jaejoong, said,” We met for the first time when we were going through the script, and since we aren’t close regularly, it was kind of unnatural.” She also stated,” Youngwoong Jaejoong attends activities with the identity of a singer, and I believe we can work together well this time to show everyone our best side.”

Also, “Heaven’s Postman” will begin filming in early November. Release is set for May of 2009 in Korea.


DBSK'S First Kiss
TVXQ's members, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin announced, they've already had a first kiss after debut!

Shim Changmin said, he had a first kiss with his girlfriend after his debut. He went out with friends on that day. While his girlfriend was washing dishes, he was paring the fruits. And after she finished doing dished, they kissed.
Kim Junsu also said, he had his first kiss when he was 20. Because of his fame, he could meet his girlfriend just 3 days from 100 days. She came to his house with a cake. Then, they went out together, and kissed at the parking lot stairs. He cried after that because he couldn't do anything for her.

Next is Park Yoochun, he said, that day he went out with friends. And when all left him with a girl which wasn't his girlfriend yet, he said to her "if our lips touch, I'll know you're my girl". Then, they kissed.

They're working with many beautiful celebrities. So they want the ordinary girls to be their girlfriends.

SHINee's AMIGO Preview
A 45-sec preview of “AMIGO” from SHINee’s repackaged first album was released a few hours ago, and all for your listening pleasure.

The track features some strong beats, but “AMIGO” which also translates as “friend” in Spanish was the work of Yoo Young Jin (lyrics) and America’s Xperimental Music (production). As covered previously, this song is to be available online tonight at 10pm on all major download sites and the album, to go on sale on 31st of October.

Actress Han Hyo Joo is slated to play in the upcoming drama “Heaven’s Postman“, which is a joint collaboration between Korea and Japan and will be working with Hero JaeJoong of Dong Bang Shin Ki. The scriptwriting of “Heaven’s Postman” will be undertaken by Japanese screenwriter Eriko Kitagawa, who also wrote “Long Vacation” and “Beautiful Life”. The director will be Lee Hyeong Min, who directed “Sorry I Love You” and “Snow Queen”.

This is the first time the two renowned writer and director will be collaborating together. As the male lead Hero JaeJoong enjoys a very high popularity in both South Korea and Japan, the drama has already attracted much attention since its preparatory stage. With the addition of Han Hyo Joo, who the Japanese viewers got to know from the drama “Spring Waltz”, the Japanese viewers are already eagerly waiting for the drama to air.

Hero JaeJoong plays as a postman who delivers letters for those who had passed away while Han Hyo Joo plays as his lover.
“Heaven’s Postman” is scheduled to begin filming in early November and both Hero JaeJoong and Han Hyo Joo are currently familiarizing with the script.


SHINee's Repackage Album 'Amigo' to be released on the 30th

SHINee is coming back with their 1st album repackage album 'Amigo.'
The repackage album is being released on the 30th and there will be total of 15 songs consisting of songs from their 1st album & 3 new songs 'Amigo; If you love a beauty you will suffer', 'Forever or Never' and 'Love Should Go On (Plugged by DJ Oneshot)'.

The new song SHINee is showing after Love Like Oxygen, Amigo is a shorten version of 'If you love a beauty you will suffer.' It means friend in Spanish and hit songwriter Yoo YoungJin wrote the lyrics and America's popular publishing company Xperimental Music produced it.

With a groovy arrangement & powerful melody, this song will be available on the 24th starting at 10PM on various online music sites such as Melon, Doshirak, CyWorld etc...

'Forever or Never' is simple but has powerful rhythm with heavy voices and in return for the fans support, SHINee included a remix song of Love Should Go On with Minho and Key's rap. It has become trendy and has a new atmosphere.
SHINee will perform their 1st album repackage album title song 'Amigo; If you love a beauty you will suffer' on the 26th at SBS Inkigayo and start their activities.


SNSD's leader Taeyeon Hospitalized
TaeYeon, member of SNSD was sent to hospital yesterday (20.10.08). The Report said that, her sore throat got worse as she had to go to hospital. So, in that night, she can’t work in her radio with KangIn and SooYoung replaced her in that night.

it was funny to see sooyoung and kangin djing together because they couldn’t match together that well.. there were lots of times where sooyoung was caught off guard, which is rare because sooyoung usually is the most well-speeched in the group. at one point kangin even said “it’s different than djing with sungmin isnt it?” and sooyoung laughed it off and gave him a look lol. she spent alot of the time with son hoyoung saying “wow” “whoa” and squealing at whatever he was saying lol

Tablo and 'Your Pieces' Tablo (28) ’s new novel ‘Your Pieces’ has received overwhelming responses from fans.

It was reported that online reservation sales which took place from 15th October, and the book went up 10 positions on sales chart, and it was at #1 spot in the 2 days span from 18th-19th October.

Some of the reasons for such good response for the book are that Tablo graduated from Stanford University, and is one who has special perspection of the things he sees and hears.

Tablo revealed that he wrote stories from 1998 to 2001 when he was in the university and during his spare time. The stories are set in New York and features a cast diverse characters in the stories.

Of the 250 pages thick novel, there will be a collection of 10 short stories. Some of the stories include:

‘Strawberry feels forever’, ‘Rest, Mouse’, ‘The wall of our world’, ‘Matchbox’, ‘Coup De Grace’, ‘Hatred Crime’, ‘Victory’s glass’, ‘Andante’

Kangin And Heechul Has A New Show On Mnet

Mnet's Love Fighter, hosted by Super Junior Leeteuk has recently ended but Super Junior fans should not worry because Kangin and Heechul will be appearing in a brand new show for Mnet.

Band of Brothers, also co-staring the Trax Member Xmas and Typhoon, will be aring on October 25th at 11 pm.

It has been years since The Trax has been active in Korea, and this show will help mark their comeback.


DBSK On Oricon Chart Number 1

Korea’s 5-man group THSK’s 24th single 「呪文－MIROTIC－」 sold 71k it’s first week of release and topped the single rankings. Continuing from the singles THSK released: January’s 「Purple Line」, April’s 「Beautiful you／千年恋歌」, and July’s 「どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？」, this is their 4th #1 and have overtaken SMAP, Arashi, and NEWS’s number of 3 releases this year.

Also from that, the record of number of topping singles by a foreign artist they achieved with their last release 「どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？」 was updated to 4. They have widened the difference from 2nd place holder Ouyan Fifi/欧陽菲菲 (2 works).
